That's a plenty long workout playlist, slightly organised by era/ genre but mostly by me organising. All the songs are available on Spotify (which is the best thing since sliced bread) so now there's no excuse not to get active, you have music to keep you company on that run

The Social Worker and the horse- spoilers for Hannibal s2 e8 (and in general)

I was catching up on Hannibal last night, and I found something about s2 e8 rather disturbing. Will and Hannibal saw Peter sewing his social worker into the womb of a dead horse, but did they try to help him get out? No. Not even Will. I suppose it just goes to show how revenge is a dish best served bloody. Don't be a psychopath, nobody's going to want to help you when someone gets their revenge on you. And you might end up sewn into a dead horse, or your own mural of dead bodies, or eating a steak from your own leg. Or perhaps worse. Now there's a scary thought. Sleep well, but remember- your neighbour could be the next Hannibal Lector.

The Game of Thrones Adventures

Well, I'm currently reading A Game of Thrones by George R R Martin, and I'm about 3/4 (page 650 of the UK edition) of the way through the book. And it's amazing, but also a little bit infuriating, because so much is going on in so many different places that I keep forgetting who minor characters are, or little incidents I don't think much of and forget about are referenced in other chapters and I can't remember about them, or it takes me forever to realize that there's a connection between people because I've forgotten their house. Nonetheless, I'm really enjoying it and I'm looking forward to what's to come, and also to watching the TV show (I hear it's amazing, but I promised myself I'd read the book first). I have A Clash of Kings, and A Storm of Swords part 1, so I'm set for the next few months of A Song of Ice and Fire obsession

Red Horses and Sarcasm

Sometimes I just like to play with the mouse pointers on old Windows computers. I could watch that horse gallop across my screen for hours. Yes, I'm highly mature (sadly, sarcasm doesn't work as well on the internet as it does when speaking)

Spider Solitaire is my life

Another school related post. Because of the year I'm in, we spend a lot of time in the computer room. Also because of the year I'm in, we're not given very much work to do. So, since we have a lot of free time on our hands and the firewall works better than the internet, we've become very good at spider solitaire, one of the few built in games on the PCs. I have it on my phone now. It's really rather addictive.

Why do phones have to die?

Well, I'm in school, my best friend is at out, so I was listening to music to cheer myself up. Then, right in the middle of lunch, my phone battery died leaving me no music and no phone games to distract myself from school. Why do phones always seem to die when you need them? Well, I believe the answer is simple. I, in my infinite wisdom, forget to plug my phone in at night. But still. Fuck sake.

My refound love for My Chemical Romance

I was listening to MCR last night, and it reminded me of how much I like them. The troubles is, everyone thinks of "Teenagers" when they think of MCR. If you don't know MCR, don't listen to "Teenagers" because (in my opinion and the opinion of a lot of others) it's not their best song. It's a good song, great for dancing, but some of my favourite MCR songs are: "Welcome to the Black Parade"; "Famous Last Words" and "Na na na". Go listen to them, they're amazing.
